Concord Baptist Church
Concord Baptist Church is located off Highway 49 near Little Yazoo and was founded in 1843. Originally apart of the Central Baptist Association, which served churches in Hinds, Warren, and Yazoo counties. Now, Concord is one of 24 other churches within the Yazoo County Baptist Association.
Concord believes there is only one true and living God. Who is the creator and ruler of the universe, and exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. And, the Bible was breathed by God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to human authors to reveal himself to man. Salvation, a free gift from God is found only through repentance of sins, and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Concord offers children, youth, and adult classes each Sunday morning beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by worship at 11:00 AM. We also meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM for our evening service. On Wednesday’s we meet at 6:30 PM for weekly prayer time with the last Wednesday of each month being designated as family potluck with great food and fellowship.
